SAWA International CIC works to support art and music to build bridges between different cultures and communities in the UK and around world. London is SAWA International’s home for all art and development projects.
Music For All International (MFAI) is SAWA’s 2019-2021 project, creating a platform for artists and musicians to reflect and perform on the culture of the Kush civilisation and its evolution since 65000bc, through cultural activities, artwork including music, comedy, storytelling, poetry, painting, handcraft, seminars talks and group meetings. This programme is a way of raising awareness and funds for the Memories du Nil 2021 (Memories of The Nile Festival) in Khartoum in 2021.

The purpose of this festival is to spread love and peace through audio-visual art and increase social and human awareness. The results of our festival will be to introduce and draw together local London-based partners and to plan ahead to our 2021 Memories Festival. Music For All International platform connects local neighbourhoods and institutions for future developments in art and culture.” Ghandi Adam, founder of SAWA International.
This season projects will include 'Soirée Sawa' and ‘Nights Together’, leading to ‘Around the Nile’ - and mini mobile festival in terms of culinary, musical and historical offerings that link the Nilotic cultures leading to 'Mémoires du Nil' (Memories of the Nile) festivals which will include cities related to the Kush culture internationally in Africa, Middle East and Europe.
Summary for presentation
Concept: Music for All is platform initiated by groups of international musicians, artists, activists and NGOs to use music and art as a way of communication.
Project: A number of concerts, exhibitions, live performances, projections, seminars and workshops around the world by a group of artists from different nationalities hosted by Lamma Orchestra and Sawa International CIC - UK with other partners and institutions.
Plan: By the end of 2019 we should complete phase one of the project with 6 meetings in 6 different countries in Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, America and South America in order to create hubs around the world to start workshops that measure the need and identify the beneficiaries.
Phase two: In two years from 2019 we should have our International Orchestra and Choir completed which has already started in 2009 by Lamma Orchestra International and the Nilogroove Sounds.
Phase Three: The final product of these meetings will be “Music For All International Festival” which will be held in the 6 continents.
By 2021 the festivals will flow to the origin of the Kush culture in the ancient city of Meroe – Sudan in Kings Valley in front of the Pyramids. Then will choose locations according to the availability and funds but mainly it will be historical landmarks and ancient civilisations with common values.

Result: SAWA INTERNATIONAL ART CENTER
Using the revenue generated from the ‘Around The Nile’ mini mobile festival, donations and funds to establish non-conventional schools for street children/refugees around the world to teach them agriculture, academic studies, Music and history through Art in a form of continual workshop programs.
Lamma Orchestra - Founded by Ghandi Adam 9 years ago in Paris- France. It is the core for an International Symphony Orchestra. Playing Nilogroove style - Presenting compositions of mostly unknown composers in known form such as JAZZ, POP Hip-Hop and oriental classic music.
The Nilogroove ‘Genre’, Songs around the Nile valley - Founded by Ghandi Adam in Paris 2010 at the 40th anniversary of Paris 8 University, then the idea is to develop it through work-shops
